Tried to surf first time ever with Bruno and it was an amazing experience. He explains everything very well, he is very passionate about his students results, he points out all the mistakes so you’re always improving. I am sharing review a bit later then just after 10 classes we had and now I can compare Miguel and Bruno with other teachers and I can say that Ericeira Waves it’s truly the right place to learn how to surf or to improve your skills. My bf also tried to surf couple of times in his life with other instructors but managed to do it only with Bruno and was extremely happy.

We did a beginner's lesson with Eiriceira Waves and it was a great experience. Miguel was very helpful and gave good advice, which helped us improve noticeably from the start of the lesson to the end. The whole time we felt well instructed and looked after. Amazing surf school, Bruno and Miguel are both amazing teachers and they really helped me to improve my surfing. They really analyze your mistakes and help you improve. Amazing surf school! I booked five lessons with Ericeira Waves Surf School and I never surfed before. After five lessons I was able to basically surf on my own.
Bruno is an amazing teacher, who really wants his students to improve every lesson. He is looking what is best for every student individually. In my case we switched boards after the first lesson to a bigger one and then after I know how to keep my balance and go up we changed back to the smaller board and yet I was able to catch a lot of waves because of the trained technique before.

What a great experience! I took 4 lessons at Ericeira Waves and would have loved to stay longer and surf more.
I had not surfed before but Bruno made me feel safe in the water. He gives clear, constructive criticism and knows exactly what you need to improve. Beside that he finds it very (if not the most) important that you are having a good time in the water. It's so incredibly cool to notice that it gets a little better every time.
